(Updated August 31, 2025)

Linux workstations are located within the Center for Integrated Sciences. The locations are noted below.

The Linux Computer Lab, CIS 237, features 21 Linux workstations, along with an instructor console connected to a projection system. All workstations are connected to the Linux servers and the campus network. The lab is utilized in the computer science curriculum, and many CS courses are held in the lab. Students may also use the lab to work on projects when classes are not in session.

The combination for CIS-237 changes every summer. To get the current combination, open a terminal window and enter: combo

In addition to the central lab, in CIS-237, there are a few Linux workstations located in:

  • CIS-243, a student lounge on the second floor, in the north wing.
  • CIS-342, a student lounge on the third floor, in the north wing.
  • CIS-111, on the bottom level of the Tech Tower, in the west wing.
